MoFfATt ExPeRiAnCe!!!

The Moffatts concert at Molson Amphitheatre at 7:30 pm on August 23 2001 section 101 row J seat 5floor seats!! Before that Steph (my friend) and me planned to go to the autograph signing at Scarborough Town Centre outside in the parking lot of Walmart. So we went and a girl told us that it was in the parking lot. So we speed walked over there and when we got there, there were at least 30 people in line (not a lot) so we waited in line until 1:00 (when it starts) Well when it was our turn we went through the line and we saw all of them sitting at a table. In order: Scott, Bob, Clint and Dave. While we were in line we took pictures and we even say Dave talking to himself! I have to say Clint looked really good with his red shades, bob wearing blue shirt and blue cap and Scott in grey. So when I got to Scott he said people should really get cameras to get good pictures something in the lines of thatI replied well if you are in it all the pictures look good. Though I know I shouldnt of said tat I felt like I needed to cuz he was also referring to Stephs camera because she was in front of me and I didnt want to take that from him but then I realized that it was a compliment..damn! Well he just said nodded his head in agreement and said yeah and smiled then passed it on to bobdidnt really talk to him cuz I took all that time talking to Scottdammit!! Well it was Clint and just when bob passed it to him I said can you guys draw something beside I wanted to see their creativity!! Clint said what and I said, Never mind. Then Dave and I didnt really talk to him this time. I asked Steph if she could take a picture and she agreed and I went behind bob and Clint- hopefully it turns out!
The session for us ended at 1:20
So after that we got grab bags full of goodies like t-shirt of c-plus, poster (small) and free internet cdwow! Hee hee well then kiss 92 lady came and handed out autographed photos of them. A girl asked if they were real and she said that it cant be cuz it is too many to sign. I got one and ask for another one saying it was for a friend and so did Steph.. When we got to Ontario Place it was abt 3 (I am guessing) so Steph and me saw the Kiss 92 both and walked to it. They gave out shirts to the first 500 people, if you wear it then you have a chance to win backstage, front row or on stage. Ok yeah we didnt win! Duh! We sat down and Steph took out her 2 autographed pics that we got from kiss 92 and she looked at it carefully and said THESE ARE REAL! she said that the signatures are real cuz the two are different. I looked at mine carefully and they were different too! So we compared ours together and were all different! So they were REAL!!
Well it was abt 6:00 it started to rain. We saw girls line up to go in so we went too. They wouldnt let us in until they are officially allowed to which was at 6:30. it was pouring rain that this point and they told us tat this line was for VIP so we had to go to another line. It was long but I guess we had to waitthen the guard said that there is another line so we had to go all the way there. As we got checked I pass the gates but Steph couldnt go cuz we were at the wrong gate. So we went all the way backto the VIP line that we found out was an anything line! So we went in and it is still pouring and got even worst.

When the show started Live on Release and Bif Naked opened for them and they were really good! I like them now.

Well show time:
The Moffatts were great. They even played Nelly Ride with me it was so cool!
Steph and I think that Scott and Clint were looking at us cuz they kept looking at our direction but just little hits gave us the clue. So it was wicked! So amazing!! It is just a reel in my head that I cant put to words. I hope I am not missing anything from the concert?? OH! They had an autograph signing and we didnt stay cuz we thought we already got it so its alright. So we walked out and as we did we say cuz there was a gate thing to keep away from the back of the Ampitheatre and walking up the steps there is a small block gate to give the Moffatts a safe way to the autograph session both. From the gate (first one) we saw through a crack the guys. It was Scott, Bob, Dave then Clint. We said hi to them but they didnt respond but it was cool I have never been so close even at an autograph session. Think abt it this way, in a car seat passenger from there to your windshield wipers!! Sweet!!

The Most Exciting Thing Happened when i went to the Jan 25 concert.
considering that i have never been to a concert, before this one, this comes to a unbreathable shock. after the concert my good friends steph and laurie ran to the autograph line where the Moffatts were going to give autographs. the line was so long that it curved. ok so we didnt line up for that long...i must admit that yes we did bud. so sorry for those ppl that we did. :-(

ok so in line it was so unbreathable that i had to take my poster that was to be autographed by my fave band to be used as a breathing tube.

how nice..the guys said that they were to stay until everyone got an autograph even if it was past midnight. the girls and i agreed to stay no matter.

as the hours went by steph got to go first. leaving Laurie and i still waiting. when it was our turn i simply said to myself "They are only human" repeatedly.

"hi how are you" i asked Scott "good thank you" he replied. as i steped to Bob all we had was an eye contact. but an eye contact was all that was needed. when Dave signed my poster he greatly said "nice shirt" i replied with a thanks. the story was that i bought a beatles tank knowing that they love the beatles. so i kinda wanted a response from someone. Fan or Moffatt. that night i had a fan AND a MOffatt say that to me which is a total honor. who can forget Clint. i said "this is my first concert" he just said "really?" in a weird sorta way. so hint for future fans don't say that!

so tat was my experiance with the MOffatts. my first concert and already got an encounter with the greatest band in Canada...God love them!
